In this Paralympic year, we are delighted to be collaborating with ParalympicsGB and Every Body Moves to promote inclusive sport and physical activity from grassroots to elite level racing, through our Limitless clubs and groups.

Limitless, British Cycling’s inclusive cycling programme which provides cycling opportunities for disabled people, has teamed up with ParalympicsGB and Every Body Moves to enhance our network of riders, clubs and groups across the country.

Every Body Moves is a ground-breaking initiative to connect disabled people with opportunities to get active. All of our Limitless clubs have now been added to its vast database of activities to widen the opportunities for disabled people to get involved in physical activity. The platform features more than 11,500 inclusive sessions and a range of virtual workouts, hints and tips, and has been co-produced with disabled people.

Connecting with Every Body Moves not only provides a platform for more disabled people to find out and engage with our Limitless clubs, but also connects other sport clubs and groups to British Cycling networks, with the aim of increasing opportunities for participation in cycling.

National Disability Manager for British Cycling, Lyndsey Hollands, said:

“We are so excited to be collaborating with Every Body Moves and ParalympicsGB, and it’s amazing to see our Limitless clubs now part of such a vast and exciting platform. Every Body Moves is an incredible initiative that will help our Limitless clubs continue to go from strength to strength, and we look forward to harnessing the inspiration from the upcoming Paralympic Games to have more people able to access cycling than ever before.”

Cornwall Bicycle Project

The Limitless programme is already proving successful on the Every Body Moves platform, with the Cornwall Bicycle Project awarded the Every Body Moves Club of the Month for May. The Limitless focus club based in Par, Cornwall, has supported more than 100 disabled people to experience the joy of cycling since joining the programme last year, and has fully embraced the Limitless programme ethos of inclusion. Thanks to the club's fleet of adaptive cycles, any rider of any ability is able to join the weekly sessions, with local SEND schools and disability community groups in regular attendance.

The Cornwall Bicycle Project is also one of British Cycling’s Limitless ICE Trike locations. Launched in January this year, our first partnership with an adaptive cycle manufacturer has allowed us to place ICE Trikes at key Limitless locations as part of our work to improve access to equipment – a common barrier that disabled people face when accessing cycling. A local rider from Cornwall has already reaped the benefits of our ICE Trike partnership and has bought his own trike using the Limitless Rider Incentive Scheme.
