Renowned restaurant group Gaucho has today been announced as Official Hospitality Partner of British Cycling and the Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain, with a limited number of exclusive packages on sale now ahead of the race’s Grand Depart in Welshpool next week.

Through the partnership Gaucho – who opened their first restaurant in London in 1994 – will be bringing their Argentinian-inspired flavours to the hospitality area for each of the stage starts, for the finishes of stages two, three and four, as well as the Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain Men in September.

The partnership is a key ingredient in our ambition to create premium hospitality and hosting experiences for cycling fans, as part of our new long-term vision for major events published in February, and follows previous collaboration between the two organisations on UCI Track Champions League events in London.

The relationship will also see British Cycling and Gaucho collaborate to offer benefits to our respective membership communities, with further details to follow over the coming months.

Darren Henry, British Cycling Commercial Director, said:

“Through our long-term vision for major events we’re determined to create world-class experiences for our members and sports fans across the country. Partnering with such a prestigious and well-loved brand as Gaucho is a real boost to the Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain, the nation’s largest free-to-attend sporting event, as we look ahead to next week’s Grand Depart in Welshpool.

“Gaucho joins a growing family of partners for British Cycling and the Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain, as we look to grow our reach and take the joy of cycling to new audiences. We know that few things match the thrill and atmosphere of being right on the finish line for a nail-biting sprint finish, and we’re delighted to be offering fans the opportunity to join us and Gaucho for what will be a historic celebration next week.”

Martin Williams, CEO of Gaucho, added:

"We are thrilled to be the Official Hospitality Partner of British Cycling and the Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain. This partnership allows us to bring the rich, Argentinian-inspired culinary experience of Gaucho to cycling fans at one of the UK's most historic sporting events. Our goal is to elevate the hospitality offering at each stage, creating unforgettable moments for fans and participants alike.

“This partnership not only aligns with our vision to craft premium hospitality experiences but also strengthens our commitment to supporting major sporting events. We look forward to an exciting race and to sharing more details about the benefits this partnership will bring to our community in the coming months."
