British Cycling is delighted to announce that fans across the country will be able to watch all the action from this year’s National BMX Series and British BMX Championships, after teaming up with BMX Race Hub.

A successful trial at the opening two rounds of the series at Cyclopark in Gravesend attracted in excess of 25,000 viewers across all platforms, and thanks to the support of British Cycling and a number of new partners including NX Teamwear and Crucial BMX, the live coverage has now been extended for the remainder of this year’s national calendar.

The next two rounds of the series takes place this weekend (3-4 June) at Platt Fields in Manchester, and you can find a track preview and all the highlights from rounds one and two on YouTube here.

British Cycling’s Acting Cycling Delivery Director, Jonathan Day, said:

“We are delighted to be working with BMX Race Hub and a number of partners to provide an opportunity for fans and riders across the country to watch the best riders in the country do battle. The live coverage forms part of our long-term plan to raise the visibility of BMX racing and capitalise on the success of our Great Britain Cycling Team riders such as Beth Shriever and Kye Whyte.

“The team at BMX Race Hub did a fantastic job of bringing all the action from the first two rounds of the National BMX Series in Gravesend, while at the same time highlighting many of the riders and volunteers who make the British BMX scene so special.”
